Play For Keeps - Keyboard & Piano

Open to anyone over the age of 9 to 90+ if you would like! Play For Keeps is a great way to learn the keyboard. Whether you want to work towards a Nationally recognised qualification or just enjoy learning and playing music - the choice is yours! This course covers an eclectic mix of musical genres from the 50's to the current pop scene.

Junior Play for Keeps

For children aged between 6 & 7, The Yamaha system provides a fun environment for children of this age, just when a child's attention span begins to lengthen, to begin learning a musical instrument like a keyboard or piano. Click here for more details...

Make New Friends!

Remember the emphasis at Yamaha is make learning FUN so you will really enjoy the experience make new friends with whom you enjoy interacting and creating 'beautiful music' together. You will be learning in groups of up to 10. You will have every chance to develop both solo and group playing activities.

Be Creative!

Although you will be trained in the use of piano and keyboard techniques much emphasis is placed on your own creative development so that you will be able to develop your own arrangements and style.

Play with the Best!

You receive a course book and accompanying CD when you sign up for one of our courses. This enable you to practise at home with fantastic backing tracks created by some of the worlds best arrangers and musicians.

Write your own Songs?

Theory & Aural skills are also taught in conjunction with the practical work. This will enable you to listen to and understand even the most complicated passages. It also provides you with the skills to compose your own work.

Trinity College Grades

The course work contains material covering Trinity College Grades 1 to 8 with additional materials at the higher end for ensemble repertoire, technical and improvisation exercises. Click Here for more details...
