Guitar Encounters

Guitar encounters is a rock and pop based course. Perfectly suited to any aspiring guitarist from the age of 8 upwards. Lessons are carried out using both electric and electric-acoustic instruments. Classes contain typically 6 to 8 students so there be an opportunity to play as a group or to play solo.

Green with Envy

The students will be taught many techniques which will make many other guitarists green with envy!

The course also fully supports music in the National Curriculum so you can learn while having fun playing.

The Whole Hog!

Not only does the student learn the basic and finer points of playing but also general music so that the guitarist will learn how to read and write music for when they want to write their own material.

Guitar Encounters will also teach the budding guitarist how to set up the guitar to get the most out of it. It will also teach correct maintenance and use of instrument tone controls, effects and amplifiers.

The students will be taught how to re-create the sounds of guitar legends like Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix so swapping your air guitars for the real thing could prove to be the best decision of your life.
